Asher Selle is a photographer from Kansas City, Missouri currently living in Brooklyn, New York.
As a photographer, Asher works closely with musicians, performers, and other artists to help visually articulate their creative ethos and sensibilities. Asher has worked with record labels, publications, and artists including Interscope Records, NPR, Live Nation, Sofar Sounds, Playlistplay, Manor Records, and more. They've covered festivals across the country including Pitchfork Festival, SXSW, Punk Island, Middle of the Map Fest, Lincoln Calling, and others.
Asher is also an avid zine-maker, and has independently published several editions of photo- and text-based zines. Their publications are held in the Gay and Lesbian Archives of Mid-America in Kansas City, MO and the library at the International Center of Photography in New York, NY. As a publisher, they have tabled at Kansas City Zinecon, the Trans Art Bazaar, and the International Center of Photography's Photobook Fest, among other festivals. In 2024, Selle launched Studio 21, an image-forward creative press.
